JUNE 11 - JUNE 18, 2005 "CREATIVITY IN WOMEN", DOROTHY ALLISON, AMY BLOOM, IFEONA FULANI, JACQUELYN MITCHARD AND LITERARY AGENT JANE GELFMAN. We will also be featuring a theatrical production called, "THE FEMALE WITS" (with FIDELIS MORGAN and other actors who performed this piece at The National Theatre in London). The Female Wits is a whirlwind theatrical tour through the lives and plays of the celebrated female playwrights of the late seventeenth century – including Aphra Behn, Delarivier Manley and Susanna Centlivre – performed by four illustrious English actresses. Workshop instructors: Advanced workshop, Ifeona Fulani and Intermediate/Beginner, Sophie Powell. Guest writers will participate in the workshops.

JULY 16 - JULY 23, 2005 "SIX WOMEN VOICES", KAREN JOY FOWLER, ANNE LECLAIRE, JOCELYN LIEU, JOYCE MAYNARD, JACQUELYN MITCHARD AND KARIN SLAUGHTER. Workshop instructors: Advanced writing, Chuck Wachtel; Intermediate/Beginner, Ifeona Fulani. Guest Lectures will also participate in the workshops. SPECIAL EVENT: For our excursion we'll be visiting the Ancient town of Certaldo for the Mercantia Fair. This is an exciting event for five nights on end - the streets and the squares of this Medieval Village are filled with the magic of the "Teatro da Quattro Soldi". Jugglers, clowns, puppeteers, acrobats, fire-eaters and fakirs, magicians and musicians, with groups and artists coming from every part of Italy and all over the world to participate in this live exciting event. This is a live street festival "without interruption".
