The Sea Ranch is a private community that extends for more than ten miles along the Northern California coastline. The more than 5000 acres range from ocean bluffs and beaches to open grassy meadows, hillsides with dramatic ocean views, and forests of redwoods and ferns. The Sea Ranch has been internationally recognized and respected as an outstanding example of environmentally sensitive land planning. More than one-half of the land is reserved as open space.

At Sea Ranch you'll be staying in a two or three bedroom house. Homes are equipped with hot tubs, TV's and video players. We will also be supplying you with all your breakfast need: local ranch eggs, milk, organic yogurts, homemade granola & jams and fresh fruits.

Climate: The temperate climate of The Sea Ranch is the best on the northern coast. Most days are sunny. When the weather does turn moody, fog may climb through the inlets and over the hills or a spectacular winter storm may sweep in from the south sending waves crashing onto rocks & beaches. Landscape and seascape take on totally different beauties. Daytime temperatures usually range from 50- 65 degrees. Rainfall generally occurs between November and April.

Recreation: An 18 hole golf course, tennis courts, 2 heated swimming pools, fishing, hiking, biking and visiting art galleries and shops in Gualala. Fifteen miles south of The Sea Ranch is Fort Ross Historic State Park, a Russian settlement.

How to get Here: The Sea Ranch is a scenic 2 1/2 hour drive from the Golden Gate Bridge through the lovely Russian River Valley and up one of the most dramatic coast lines in the world.
